In 2009 Thabiso started working in the Mental Health field working with people all over Gauteng who struggled with mental health and addiction problems using his psychology background to provide support and counselling. Thabiso has always had need to improve his skills and in 2013 he was introduced to NLP.
Thabiso’s introduction to NLP allowed him to overcome his fear of speaking in public and also helped him launch his career as an inspirational speaker and NLP Coach. A year later Thabiso worked as a psychology lecturer at the South African College of Applied Psychology before furthering his NLP studies completing his NLP Master Certificate, Business and Executive Coaching Certificate and NLP Train the Trainer Certificate.
Thabiso also found that although he had a bewildering range of psychological and personal development models on offer. The material that he discovered to be (by far) the most useful and effect was NLP, especially when linked to the Coaching approach. Thabiso worked as an NLP trainer at various NLP Training Academies before deciding to launch his own academy.
His passion for human empowerment let to his clients in the mental health field nominating him for the International NLP Awards in London where he was nominated as a finalist for using NLP in the Health Care sector. Thabiso won the ANLP Inspiration Award, specially designed by the NLP International Conference organizing committee, the ANLP. Thabiso went on to be the first South African to present at the NLP International Conference in 2019 and will also be presenting again in 2020.
